Overwhelmed with Mother-in-law visits!!?

We had our first baby 5 weeks ago and ever since my in-laws have been visiting twice each day everyday!! ( first the MIL then the FIL).. first in the afternoon then last thing at night. Me and my wife don’t seem to have any time together alone at night anymore and family time to spend with the baby. I fear its going to get worse and its having a bearing on our relationship with each other now and she feels she is in the middle and is worried she may upset them if she were to say something to them. I don’t think I’m being selfish or mean by wanting less visits from the in-laws, is anyone else going through the same or able to offer any advice ? thanks
