French speakers! is this correct?! can you correct?!?

Seems good (as good as my rusty French, anyway). The only thing I'd recommend is not saying "D'abord" in the first paragraph since you use it in the second one (or vice versa -- get rid of it in the second paragaph), or say something like "J'ai commencer mon visit a Firefly Island, o� vit mon cousin."
