I am a school nurse. Can I be fired for curing in front of a child. I was very sick when I did it.?

I was having an confusional migraine at the time. 3 weeks later I had a cervical laminectomy because my spinal cord was being squashed by c-3 though c7 which was fused. I saw my mri and only drops of spinal fluid were getting by until the lumber region. The fluid was blacking up being reabsorbed by the brain and irriating it and causing the headaches. I got my first headache of note in 2005 but who knows how long this has been going on. I had been going to mds since then and in the hospital several times. I am in the union also. My bosses have been sweet to me and I said I was sorry to the child. I am out of sick leave hoping to return in September but very nervous since a few parents heard me. I just freaked out over a roach which is totaly out of character for me. My doctor said it was like a seizure. Am I just being nervous? I am still very sick from the operation.
