Need some answers on subs!!

i have 2 15" kicker l5's on a memphis 1100d which pushes around 2200 watts and yes it hits hard and rattles the hell outta my trunk!! but i want something new. the l7's are good and all but my amp wont push 2 15" l7's and they take up too much space. so would i be down grading on getting 2 jl audio w7's or not?? cause i know they are about 500.00!! i was looking at orion hcca's and they take too much power to crank. just like the mtx 9500 or the cerwin vega strokers. any advice is very appreciated, thanx!!
