Is there anything I can do for this puppy?(long story)?

I would personally buy the dog, it may not be the most wise decision however I myself have trouble knowing that animals are being treated this way and would make my decision based on the quickest fix. Keep the dog for a while if possible and if it doesn't work out try to find a better home for her. Sounds like you really care about this dog and have a special connection with her though. You're a good person for caring so much though. Good luck, I'm sure you'll do what's best for the dog.
