If you were an Atheist would you find it hard to have a bar mitzvah aganist your will?

I don't think it would bother me terribly, if that was the sort of family I was raised into. I am without religion, but I find the studies of them fascinating. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but a bar mitzvah is really little more than a coming-of-age ceremony. A religious equivalent to a "sweet sixteen" party, really.
