Any one ever used a netipot for their sinus/allergy problems?

so i was watching Opera the other day and this doctor guy came on and demo-ed this thing called a neti pot which flushes your sinuses out and its supposed to be an excellent way to get rid of allergies and other sinus ailments. i was wondering if anyones had any success with them? i bought one online the other day but it hasn't yet arrived. i hope this works because i HATE taking meds.
